We were always busy back then biking/roller blading down the street, swimming at his dad's house and even having sleepovers. Dale is and forever will be, my best friend. May you rest in peace bud.

Dale was my supervisor for a few years during my time at Whole Foods. He was actually the very first person to greet me when I was looking to get a job there, and made me feel welcomed and less nervous about my interview. He never treated me as a subordinate, but as an equal. His grounding presence made everyone who worked with him feel safe, and he was always a bright light on tough days. We closed many nights together and shared great conversations, and he mentored me to move up as a supervisor at the time. Dale was a heavy loss for the entire Whole Foods family, but we remember him with all the fondness and love in the world.
