I knew her as Beth Marino. We met at Doyle Knight Elementary School in Lennon, Michigan, which was part of the Durand school system. If I remember correctly, she lived only two or three blocks away from the school. I remember she was one of the truly nice, friendly kids in our class. She and I were not close friends, but we got along well with each other in school. She seemed to be a happy person most of the time.I knew her as Beth Marino. We graduated from high school in 1989. I believe that she and I were both surprised to receive special awards at the last awards assembly in school before graduation day. I can't quite remember what the award was now, but I remember that we were both surprised.
As years fly by, once in a while I wonder how my classmates from years ago are doing and look them up. I'm sad to learn that Beth has died. My sincerest condolences to her husband, children, grandchildren, and the rest of her family. Mr. Lance E Sloan, 07 February 2024
