I wanted to be a flight attendant like you, so when I told my boyfriend he put a ring on my finger instead of me flying all over the world..
I continued to follow you as your advice was always taken through all the years since I was 15.
May you rest in Peace with Joe now as that has given me some solace since you left us.
Thank you for all your acts of kindness to me and my family.

My sister-in-law my friend. I feel so fortunate to have known and loved Micki. She gave do much to my brother Joe, her husband as well as the rest of the Beaver clan, she made chocolate milkshakes for my little son Jeff and nephew Mike when they visited her as children. My first meeting with Micki was on the farm they lived on when she was c child. We were cousis. Because we lived int the city of Edmonton we rarily saw one another for years. Micki, you were so loved by all. When I was 16, I boarded a bus one summer by myself from Vancouver, BC and stayed with you in San Francisco. Even though we hadn’t seen each other for some time, you welcomed me with open arms and the biggest smile (as always). After I got married, my family and I visited you and Joe a couple of times and were always welcomed with open arms and that same smile. Each time we visited, you were the most gracious and hospitable person and an amazing cook! Micki, no one could ever fill your shoes.
